Launch
Favorites
A star marks a listing as a favorite. Signed out, the list stays in this browser. Signed in with X, it is stored on that account. The market has a favorites filter.
Step by step
1. On a market card or a listing, tap the star. Add to favorites turns it on. Tap again to take it off.
2. Signed out, the browser keeps up to 500 names. Signed in, signing in merges this browser's list into the account. Names already on the account stay. New local names append. The cap is still 500. Names that do not fit stay in this browser.
3. On Launch home, use the favorites filter to show only starred listings.
4. An old star that lived on the watch list still shows until the favorites list is written, so those stars are not dropped.
Example
Example: Two browsers
Example: you star LAUNCH_XFER/SUNNY while signed out on a laptop. You later sign in with X on that laptop. SUNNY is merged onto the account. On a phone, after the same sign-in, the star is there. A star you add on the phone while signed out stays on the phone until that browser signs in and merges.
Common mistakes
Expecting a signed-out star on one browser to appear on another. It merges when you sign in.
Starring more than 500 listings on the account. The rest stay only in the browser that added them.
Looking for favorites on the chain. They are a Launch list, not an asset transfer.
FAQ
- Is a favorite a buy?
- No. It only filters and marks listings.
- What is the watch alert?
- The star row can also hold a watch alert. The favorite itself is the star. The alert is a separate note on that listing.
- Where is the filter?
- On the Launch market, next to the other sorts. The control is labeled Favorites.
