Stats and supply cards
The Stats page summarizes the chain: time lived, XFER issued, the next halving, draws, winners, how wins are spread, and the halving staircase. Supply cards on that page match the supply API.
Step by step
1. Open Stats.
2. Issued is XFER paid out so far. Lifetime is XFER that will ever be paid. Draws are blocks that paid a lottery.
3. Top handle is the share of wins taken by the handle that won most. HHI is how concentrated wins are. Near 1 means one handle won most minutes. Luck compares each handle's wins with its fair share for the time it spent in the hat.
4. The staircase is the halving schedule. The lit step is the current era. Each step halves the reward and adds one winner.
5. For issued, burned, circulating, and max as numbers you can fetch, use Supply. /api/supply is the machine-readable card.
Example
Example: HHI
Example, not a live stat: if one handle won almost every minute, HHI sits near 1 and Top handle is most of the wins. If many handles each won a similar share, HHI is lower. Luck above a fair share means that handle won more minutes than its time in the hat would suggest. Luck is a description of the past, not a ticket for the next draw.
Common mistakes
Reading Lifetime as coins that exist today. Lifetime is the cap. Issued is what has been paid.
Using HHI as a price signal. It only describes how wins were spread.
Ignoring the staircase and expecting the reward to stay 5,000 XFER forever. It halves every 2.1M blocks.
FAQ

- The first era pays 1 winner per minute. Each halving adds one winner and halves the reward.
- Does Stats show burned XFER?
- The supply API does. Supply explains issued_atoms and burned_atoms.
- How often does the page refresh?
- Explorer pages refresh about once a block.
