Referrals

Referrals are a website program. They do not change the chain. Both people sign in with X on the referrals page and file their own line. A payout, when the program is paying, sends the same amount to each side.

Prices can go down. No payout is promised. This is not financial advice.

Step by step

  1. 1. Open Referrals. Each person signs in and fills only their own line. "Who referred you?" is for the referred person. "Who did you refer?" is for the referrer. Neither line is required by itself.

  2. 2. A pair counts when the referred session names the referrer's handle, the referrer session names the referred handle, and the two accounts are different. You cannot refer yourself. Two accounts cannot refer each other. The first matching pair is the one that counts. A referred account can be credited only once.

  3. 3. The referred account needs an X blue check on that sign-in (verified, and verified type blue). A business or government badge is not this check. The referrer does not need a blue check. Account age and follower count are not required.

  4. 4. The referred handle needs 25 hours in the hat. The chain slot is one block per minute, so that is 1,500 hat entries. The count is draws_all on the explorer hat-stats API, for the whole life of the handle. There is no XFER balance requirement, and the referred user does not need to win a drawing. Hat blocks from before the program count the same.

  5. 5. When the sign-in includes an account creation time, the referred account must have been created no later than one day after that handle's first hat block. A new account that takes over an old handle does not inherit the old hat history. If that start time is missing, the pair does not qualify.

  6. 6. Each person proves a payout address with the signed-in web vault. An address merely listed on the explorer is not accepted. A typed address with no proof is refused.

  7. 7. When the pair matches, the hat time is met, both addresses are proved, and payouts are on, one transaction pays both people. Each side is $5 of XFER at the day's high XFER/USDT price. A higher daily high pays fewer XFER. The high has to be a real exchange value: positive, finite, not stale, and quoted within the last 10 minutes. A missing or stale high waits.

  8. 8. There is no limit on how many different people one referrer can confirm, and there is no daily cap. A handle or account that was already paid does not pay again. The batch sends at most 30 payouts an hour, with at least 5 seconds between them. The referrals page shows a hold reason when a batch is waiting, and whether payouts are on.

Example

Example: $5 at two example prices

Example prices, not a live quote and not a promise that a payout will be sent.

Day's high 0.001 USDT per XFER
Each side is 5 / 0.001 = 5,000 XFER.
Day's high 0.01 USDT per XFER
Each side is 5 / 0.01 = 500 XFER.
Hat time
1,500 heartbeats in the hat, which is 25 hours at one block per minute. Wins are not required.

Common mistakes

  • Filing both lines from one account. Each person has to sign in and save their own line.

  • Using a business or government badge as the referred check. Referrals require the blue check.

  • Pasting an explorer address with no vault proof. The proof has to be this signed-in session.

  • Expecting a payout while the page says payouts are off, or while the day's high is missing.

  • Referring each other. Mutual pairs are not paid.

FAQ

Does the referred person need XFER first?
No. There is no balance or holding requirement.
Do old hat hours count?
Yes. draws_all is the lifetime count. There is no start date. A referral that already happened can be filed when both people sign in now.
What is the donation line on that page?
The referrals page can show what that payout wallet has received, what it has paid, and its balance, plus a deposit address. The line on the page is "Anyone can donate to grow XFER." That wallet is not a Launch pool.
Where is the leaderboard?
On the referrals page. It ranks referrer handles by completed pairs: both sides confirmed, and the referred handle has the hat time. It shows handles and counts, not addresses.

The wiki explains how the software works. It is not legal, tax, securities or financial advice. Rules differ by country and change over time. Nothing here is a promise that XFER or any token will have value. Terms of Use.
