Your wallet

A wallet in this browser holds your coins and tokens. The 12 words are the backup.

  1. 1. Tap Web wallet.

  2. 2. Tap Create.

  3. 3. Write the 12 words on paper. Check the box that says you wrote them down.

  4. 4. Type the words it asks for.

  5. 5. Choose a password. Tap Encrypt and finish.

Details

The 12 words never leave this browser. We cannot see them. A new phone does not have them until you type them in.

To open an old wallet, tap Restore and type the 12 words.

The password only locks the words on this device. It is not a second backup.
