How to get more XFER

These are the ways this site and the chain can pay you XFER, or the ways a trade can move XFER to your wallet. Each one has rules. None of them promises a payout, and a price can fall.

Prices can go down. No payout is promised. This is not financial advice.

Step by step

  1. 1. Hat / draw. Run Heavy, sign in with an X Verified account, and leave it open so it heartbeats. The web wallet does not enter. One node, one ticket. Right now one winner per minute is paid the block reward plus that block's network fees. The reward starts at 5,000 XFER and halves every 2.1M blocks. A win waits 100 blocks before it can be spent. The lottery.

  2. 2. Referrals. A referred handle with a blue check and 1,500 hat entries can qualify a pair. When payouts are on, each side is $5 of XFER at the day's high. Referrals.

  3. 3. Creator fees from your own listings. Fair buys and sells set aside 0.30%, which is the creator's part of the 0.90% a fair trade pays. You claim it from the listing. Creator fees. A fair trade pays 0.90% in total: 0.60% platform and 0.30% creator. Of the 0.60% platform fee, 0.20% goes to the listing's pool when it has stakers. If the pool has no stakers, the platform keeps the 0.20%. The creator keeps 0.30%. The trading fee share has been live since Oct 18, 2026 at 6:33 PM ET. Trades before that are not paid back into pools.

  4. 4. Pool rewards. Deposit the listing's tokens from any address in your vault. Every fungible listing has one, including listings created later, and there is no deposit cap. NFT and unique listings are excluded. Each deposit locks for 7 days from its block time. The creator can add more. A daily batch pays the pool when it has stakers, then that XFER streams for 7 days by stake and time. If nobody has staked, the platform keeps the 0.20%. Until a reward confirms, the stats strip says Not funded yet. Pools.

  5. 5. Trading. Selling tokens on a fair curve pays you the curve payout minus the platform fee and the creator fee. Buying spends XFER. A sale can pay you less XFER than an earlier buy cost.

  6. 6. Creating. A unique's first sale pays the listing price to the lister. Creating a sub-asset burns 100 XFER, so the create itself spends XFER. The XFER you can receive is from a sale or from creator fees, not from the burn.

Example

Example: Worked examples (every figure below is an example, except the fee rates)

The fee percents are the real rates. The prices and sizes are examples, not a forecast.

Hat, first era
One winner is paid 5,000 XFER plus that block's network fees. Later eras pay half, then half again, and add winners.
Referral, example high 0.001
$5 is 5,000 XFER for each side. At an example high of 0.01, $5 is 500 XFER each. A higher high pays fewer XFER. Payouts can be off.
Creator fee, example 1,000 XFER fair buy
6 XFER platform, 3 XFER creator, 991 XFER to the curve. The lister claims the 3 XFER.
Pool, example
See the three hypothetical pictures on the Pools page. Of a 1,000 XFER trade, the trader pays 9 XFER (0.90%): 6 XFER platform, 3 XFER creator, and 2 XFER of the platform fee is the pool's 0.20% when someone has already staked. With no stakers the platform keeps that 2 XFER. Until a reward confirms, the stats cell says Not funded yet.
Sell, example curve payout 100 XFER
You receive 99.10 XFER after 0.60 platform and 0.30 creator.
Unique first sale, example price 25 XFER
The lister receives 25 XFER. The buyer also pays 0.60% (0.15 XFER) on top.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving the web wallet open and expecting a draw ticket. Only the desktop app enters.

  • Filing a referral without the other person, or without a blue check on the referred account.

  • Waiting for creator fees to arrive by themselves. You claim them from the listing.

  • Treating a pool as a share of trades that happened before anyone staked. Those stay with the platform. A later deposit does not receive them.

  • Spending the 100 XFER create burn and expecting those coins back.

FAQ

Will I be paid for being online?
Only if your desktop node is drawn. More active nodes means a smaller chance each minute. The chain does not owe you a win.
Can a referral pay if the high is stale?
No. A missing, zero, or stale high waits. The referrals page shows the hold reason.
Does creating always pay me XFER?
No. Creating a sub-asset burns 100 XFER. You receive XFER if someone buys, or when you claim creator fees.
Is any of this a forecast?
No. Prices can go down. No payout is promised. This is not financial advice.
