The Vault

The Vault is the wallet in this browser. Launch, the wiki, and the web wallet share it. You sign every create, list, buy, and sell. The site does not hold the keys. The 12 words stay on this device.

Step by step

  1. 1. Open the vault from the header. Create or restore it. Your wallet has the 12-word steps.

  2. 2. Unlock it before a trade, a list, a chart trigger, or a pool deposit. A locked wallet cannot sign.

  3. 3. The person who lists an asset is the creator. Their fee is set aside to claim from the listing. It is kept out of the XFER that backs the curve.

  4. 4. Fills for this vault can be printed from the listing. Clear history asks you to confirm before it removes that local record.

  5. 5. When pools are on for a listing you joined, the vault has a My pools tab. Pools.

Example

Example: Signing a buy

Example: you restore 12 words in the browser, unlock with the device password, open a listing, and choose Buy. The vault signs that trade on this device. Closing the tab locks you out until you enter the password again. The words are not sent with the trade.

Common mistakes

  • Using a chart trigger and then locking the wallet. The trigger is canceled.

  • Thinking Launch holds the 12 words because it can show a balance. The browser signs. The relay only broadcasts the signed transaction.

  • Clearing history and expecting the chain to forget the trades. Clear history removes the local printout. The explorer still has the transactions.

FAQ

Is the vault the pool escrow?
No. Escrow is where a pool holds deposited tokens. The vault is your wallet.
Same words as the desktop app?
Yes. Heavy 1.0.27 restores the same 12 words. Claiming a name needs Heavy 1.0.27 and Sign in with X. Light and older wallets are no longer supported.
Where do I claim a creator fee?
