Launch
Pools
A pool holds one listing's tokens together. Launch holds pooled tokens in escrow until withdrawn. Staked tokens are never sold. Buys, sells and the graduation ask use Launch's own listing tokens and reserve, not the staking pool. Withdrawing gives back the same number of tokens you staked. Each deposit has its own 7-day lock, counted from that deposit's block time. Pools are on for every fungible listing, including listings created later. There is no deposit cap. NFT listings and unique listings are excluded by listing type: a name containing #, a listing of exactly one whole token, and a listing whose description type is NFT. Those listings do not show a Pool section.
Prices can go down. No payout is promised. This is not financial advice.
Step by step
1. A pool holds one listing's tokens together so holders can share pool rewards by stake and time. Every fungible listing has one, including listings created later, and there is no deposit cap. NFT listings and unique listings are excluded: a name containing #, a listing of exactly one whole token, and a listing whose description type is NFT. Those listings do not show a Pool section. Anyone who can sign in with X and holds that listing's tokens can deposit.
2. Open the listing, sign in, and use Deposit in the Pool section. Tokens on any address in this vault can be used. You do not gather them onto one address first. The deposit sends those tokens to the listing's escrow address. It counts once it has a confirmation and a block time. If the network rejects the deposit, Launch refuses it. The message is "The network did not accept that deposit." That deposit does not count.
3. Each deposit has its own 7-day lock, counted from that deposit's block time. The chain tip's block time is what opens it. A later deposit locks only the new amount. There is no early exit. If a confirmed deposit later drops below one confirmation, it goes back to waiting and the lock starts again from the new block time.
4. Pool rewards come from 0.20% of each trade on this listing, plus anything the creator adds with Fund pool or an airdrop. A fair trade pays 0.90% in total: 0.60% platform and 0.30% creator. The pool's 0.20% of the trade is taken from the 0.60% platform fee, and only while someone is already staked. The creator still keeps 0.30% and claims that from the listing. Until a pool reward confirms, the Pool cell says Not funded yet. Deposits stay open.
5. Sharing is stake × time. New pool rewards are shared out slowly over 7 days to everyone staked, by the size of their stake. A bigger stake, or one that stays in longer during those 7 days, gets a bigger share. The 7 days is not a rate, and no amount is promised.
6. Trading-fee XFER is paid in a batch about once a day: one transaction from the protocol fee address to each pool's reward address. The network fee on that transaction is paid by one shared wallet, not from the pool reward wallet. An amount under about 0.01 XFER waits for a later batch. After the batch confirms, that XFER streams for 7 days by stake and time. Creator-funded tokens and XFER stream the same way once they confirm. The page shows pool rewards already paid, not a forecast. The trading fee share has been live since Oct 18, 2026 at 6:33 PM ET. Trades before that are not paid back into pools.
7. No stakers: the platform keeps that 0.20%. A fill counts only if the pool already had confirmed stake at the fill's confirmation. Nothing is written down for a later first deposit.
8. After a deposit unlocks, Withdraw sends part or all of it to an address you deposited from, and pays pool rewards that are ready. Claim sends ready pool rewards and leaves the deposit in place. A smaller amount waits and is included later. The token minimum defaults to 1 raw unit. The XFER minimum defaults to 1,000,546 xferons (0.01000546 XFER). The network fee is not taken from that XFER. One shared wallet pays it. Network fees for every pool payout come from that wallet. Its address is Xm5KFRKjUN233pEhenCivE9RJo8kWVGs1y. Anyone can send XFER to it. A donation is voluntary. It only pays those network fees. It is not a pool reward. When that wallet is empty, the payout waits until someone refills it, and the reward wallet is not touched. A withdrawal uses that same wallet when you do not attach your own fee. The escrow address holds the listing tokens. It does not need an XFER balance for that fee. XFER change from your own fee goes back to your vault. XFER change from the shared wallet goes back to that wallet.
9. The Pool cell sits in the top stats strip. It shows tokens confirmed in the pool, how many stakers, Funded or Not funded yet, and 7-day lock. The ? next to Pool explains the cell, including the share of trading fees while the pool has stakers. Clicking the cell scrolls to the Pool section. Read the pool notice before you deposit. It is separate from the Launch terms.
10. To verify a batch, open GET /api/launch/fee-share. It lists each batch, its status, and the fill txids it covers. Open the batch txid in the explorer. The outputs pay the pool reward addresses in XFER. Each fill txid is in at most one live batch.
11. Launch holds pooled tokens in escrow until withdrawn. The token's price can move while a deposit is locked, and you cannot withdraw during those 7 days. Pool rewards depend on trading volume and on what the creator adds. A quiet listing can add little or nothing.
12. Airdrops: the listing creator can send XFER to the pool's stakers. It is XFER only, at least 1 XFER. The creator picks how long it lasts: 1, 7, 14, 30 or 90 days. The creator can set it up while creating the listing, or later from the Pool section.
13. An airdrop is shared out a little at a time, one slice per block. A day is about 1,440 blocks. Each slice goes to the people staked at that block, by the size of their stake. Joining later gets you nothing for the blocks before you joined. Leaving keeps what you were given up to the block you left.
14. If nobody is staking, the airdrop waits. Blocks with no stake are not counted, so nothing is lost. The airdrop starts again once someone stakes. It also waits while the network cannot find the funding payment.
15. An airdrop is final. Once sent, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Launch shows this before the creator signs and asks them to confirm it.
16. A 1 of 1 or NFT listing has no pool, so it cannot have an airdrop. Airdrop XFER shows with your other pool rewards. Claim or Withdraw sends it to you, the same way.
Example
Example: Three hypothetical pictures (example numbers, not a live pool)
These three pictures use made-up sizes so the split is easy to check. The fee percents are the real rates. The software streams new reward-wallet funds across current stake for the window. It does not promise this split, and the page does not show it as a rate.
- 1. A 1,000 XFER trade, with stakers
- Hypothetical size. The trader pays 9 XFER (0.90%). Platform 6 XFER (0.60%). Creator 3 XFER (0.30%), claimed from the listing. The pool's 2 XFER is the 0.20% taken out of the platform's 6, and only because stake was already confirmed.
- 2. The same trade, no stakers
- The pool is credited 0. The platform keeps the 6 XFER. A later first deposit does not receive that 2 XFER.
- 3. Stake × time over 7 days
- You hold 1,000 tokens for the whole window: 7,000 token-days. Someone else holds 1,000 tokens for 3.5 days: 3,500 token-days. Of a hypothetical 700 tokens the creator added, 7,000 / 10,500 is 2/3, about 466.67 tokens. Of a hypothetical 2 XFER fee batch streaming over the same window, your share is about 1.33 XFER. A payout under the minimum waits and is included later.
- Your deposit (example)
- 1,000 tokens. Once that deposit has a confirmation, the 7-day lock starts from its block time.
- A later deposit (example)
- 200 tokens the next day. Only those 200 are locked from the second deposit's block time. The first 1,000 still unlocks on its own day.
- Not funded yet (example)
- Before any pool reward confirms, the Pool cell says Not funded yet. You can still deposit. Trading fees add XFER only while stake is already confirmed.
Common mistakes
Sending tokens to escrow and expecting to withdraw the same day. The lock is 7 days from the deposit's block time, and there is no early exit.
Thinking a trade pays the pool when nobody has staked. It does not. The platform keeps that 0.20%, and a later first deposit does not receive it.
Looking for a pool on an NFT or a unique. Those listing types are excluded, so the stats strip has no Pool cell.
Treating a deposit the network rejected as if it were in the pool. The message is "The network did not accept that deposit."
Forgetting that Launch has custody of the pooled tokens until you withdraw them.
Reading the 7-day reward window as a promised rate. The page shows rewards already paid.
Expecting an airdrop to pay for blocks before you staked. Each slice goes only to people staked at that block.
Sending an airdrop and expecting to undo it. An airdrop is final and cannot be refunded.
FAQ
- Who holds the tokens?
- Launch holds pooled tokens in escrow until withdrawn. That is custody, said plainly: Launch holds them until you withdraw.
- Can my staked tokens be sold, or used for the graduation ask?
- Staked tokens are never sold. Buys, sells and the graduation ask use Launch's own listing tokens and reserve, not the staking pool. Withdrawing gives back the same number of tokens you staked.
- Can I withdraw part?
- After that deposit unlocks, yes. You withdraw to an address you deposited from. A withdrawal also pays pool rewards that are ready.
- Where do I see my deposits?
- The vault's My pools tab lists listings where this sign-in has a deposit, when pools are available.
- What does Not funded yet mean?
- The Pool cell says Not funded yet when no pool reward has confirmed yet. Deposits are open. Trading fees add XFER only while confirmed stake is already there. The creator can also add tokens or XFER with Fund pool.
- Which listings have a pool?
- Every fungible listing, including ones created later. There is no deposit cap. NFT listings and unique listings are excluded by listing type.
- Which vault address can I deposit from?
- Any address in this vault that holds the listing's tokens. You do not move them onto one address first.
- How do I check a fee batch?
- GET /api/launch/fee-share lists each batch and the fill txids it covers. Open the batch txid in the explorer. It pays the pool reward address in XFER. Each fill txid is in at most one live batch.
- What is a pool airdrop?
- XFER the listing creator sends to the pool's stakers. It is shared one slice per block, over 1, 7, 14, 30 or 90 days, to whoever is staked at each block. It waits while nobody is staking. It is final and cannot be refunded. A 1 of 1 or NFT cannot have one.
- What can go wrong?
- Launch holds pooled tokens in escrow until withdrawn. The price can move during the 7-day lock. Pool rewards depend on trading volume and on creator-funded amounts. A quiet market can add little or nothing. No payout is promised.
Where pool rewards come from
Pool rewards come from 0.20% of each trade on that listing, plus anything the creator adds. Traders still pay 0.90%. The creator still keeps 0.30%. The 0.20% is taken out of the platform's 0.60%, and only while that pool already has confirmed stake. It is paid in XFER and shared by stake and time over 7 days. A day with nothing large enough rolls amounts under about 0.01 XFER forward.
- Trader pays
- 0.90% of the trade. That is 0.60% platform and 0.30% creator.
- Creator keeps
- 0.30%. The creator claims it from the listing. It is not part of the pool.
- Platform keeps
- 0.40% of the trade, plus the whole 0.60% when the pool has no confirmed stake.
- Pool receives
- 0.20% of the trade, from the platform's 0.60%, when confirmed stake is already above zero.
- No stakers
- The platform keeps that 0.20%. Nothing is written down for a later first deposit.
- How to verify
- GET /api/launch/fee-share lists each batch and the fill txids it covers. The batch pays that listing's pool reward address. After the batch confirms, the XFER streams for 7 days by stake and time. Each fill txid is in at most one batch.
