How to claim

Claim your name right in the browser web wallet with Sign in with X. No download needed, on a Mac, a phone or a PC.

1. Open the web wallet and unlock it (or create one).
2. Tap X, then Sign in with X.
3. Tap Claim. Wait until it confirms.
4. Done when the wallet says You're claimed: and your name.

You can claim a name right in the browser web wallet with Sign in with X, no download needed. Heavy is only for running a node, which is what enters the lottery draw.

If your blue check is still pending on X, your node stays out of the draw until it clears. Claiming a name does not need a blue check.

Is it done?

Done means the wallet shows You're claimed: NAME. Signing in alone is not a claim.

If you see this, you are not claimed yet: Not claimed yet. Signing in with X does not claim your name by itself. Press Claim below, then wait for it to confirm.

While it confirms, the wallet shows a waiting note with a timer. Leave the page open or reload it later to check.

When you need Heavy

Heavy is only for running a node. A node that is open, signed in with X Verified, is what enters the minute draw.

No Mac build yet. On a Mac or a phone, use the web wallet: you can claim your name, send and receive there. Heavy runs on Windows and Linux.

Download help

Windows SmartScreen may say it protected your PC. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Right-click the zip and choose Extract All first. Running X Coin Wallet from inside the zip does not work.
Work or school PCs may block downloads or new programs. If it is blocked, ask your IT team or use a personal PC.
